We were very lucky finding lions on many of the excursions.

Dawn on the first day, we spot a solitary male.
We track and watch as it is moving our way.

It's hard to make out because the area is heavily shaded, but this is several females with four cubs (not all visible in the picture). We kept coming back here, because they had a kudu kill under the trees, and were going to remain there for a couple of days until they finished eating it.

They sleep up to 20 hours per day.
