Here's us at the first formal night at our table.
Our cabin, with our sweaty gym clothes hanging up to dry.
The pool. area: note the retractable ceiling so they can open it to nice
weather, or keep the pool area warm if the weather turns.
According to www.weather.com, it was supposed to rain almost every day
we were in Alaska. However, we always make it a point to bring great weather
with us.
This is another cruise ship, showing how close we are going to get to
the glacier, and giving a better idea of its size.
Obviously, small web pictures cannot do justice to how magnificent the
glacier is. The blue color is from the compressed, crystallized glacial
ice.
Here's the splash from a calving of the glacier on the right side of
the picture.
Here's a couple where the sun came out on the glacier, bringing it out
from the background in the clouds.
