gateway to Machu Picchu.

that these are mortars in the ground, but they are too flat really for
that. The second explanation is that these are reflectors that were either
filled with water or plated with gold to reflect the sun coming through
the windows at certain times of the year.
We had plenty of time to go exploring in the city, and to meditate in
this perfect place.
