For our 21st wedding anniversary, we went to Marche Moderne and tried their new prix fixe menu. Of course,
we had to start with a cheese course and some of their fine bread.
The first course had a flattened slice of tuna sashimi laid over another tuna salad.
The second course crab meat with a veloute served on the side.
The third course was a scallop with sauce americaine and sea urchin butter.
The main course was a medallion of filet over a slice of lobster, and topped with a slice of black truffle.
This was on top of a gnocchi and accompanied by a bone marrow-infused farci.
Kimberly opted for a yuzu tart for dessert...
...while Wade tried the special rice pudding with pineapple and macadamia nuts.
Here is the menu for reference.
