The "windmills" part refers to the windmill-powered pumps (Archimedes
screw-type) on these salt flats. Water is pumped into the various holding
sections, and evaporated to collect the salt in these huge mounds.

Kimberly couldn't be happier, surrounded by this much salt. They put
these tiles on the salt piles to keep it from blowing away.
The second stop is a winery that specializes in Marsala wine. This is
their logo.
