Kimberly at the Westminster Community Theatre production of "Leading
Ladies" on January 13-28, 2012.
Jack and Leo (onstage) are two actors that are down on their luck, and
reduced to presenting bad Shakespeare snippets at the Moose Lodge.
On the train, they hatch a plan to impersonate the long-lost Max and
Steve...
...but a change encounter reveals that Max and Steve are actually Maxine
and Stephanie.
Meanwhile, Butch and Doc await the arrival of Maxine and Stephanie.
And look, here they are now!
Unfortunately Florence keeps dying throughout the play.
We have to have a party to celebrate.
The unsuspecting Meg falls for the out-of-drag Leo.
But Duncan knows something is amiss.
Meg and Maxine have just returned from a long day of shopping.
Comic relief -- as if any was needed -- was provided by Doc and Florence
battling.
Meg and Duncan.
Doc find himself falling for Stephanie.
To quote from Zorro, the Gay Blade: "Your cousin is not a
woman...she is a goddess."
Duncan and Meg at odds again.
