We moved our traditional New Year's Eve party to New Year's Day (01/01/2012) to accommodate Darrolyn coming back from visiting her family in New York. Kimberly's boss Drew was nice enough to send over a ham, so we made that the centerpiece and everyone brought goodies to go with it.
Heather, Wade, and Kimberly had to sit at the "kid's table".
After dinner and a toast the new year, we retired to the living room for the traditional white elephant gift exchange.
No gift exchange is complete without a little stealing.
And then some time around the fire pit to just share and enjoy each other's company.
Darrolyn brought back some herringbone scarves, so we can all imitate (the incomparable) Hans.
