On the streets of London, Oliver is out with the Dodger...
...and act I ends with him getting pinched.
At the Three Cripples, Sykes confronts Fagin to go and get the boy before he rats on them.

...then interspersed with this scene about sending Oliver out...

We've capture Oliver and taken him back to Fagin's lair...
...but Nancy has a plan to get Oliver back to Mr. Brownlow.
Nancy's efforts get her bludgeoned to death...
...but Syked is killed and Oliver is saved.
And the cast of thousands take their bows.
