In 2004, Neil Simon rewrote "The Odd Couple" as "Oscar
and Felix, a New Look at the Odd Couple". The story stays pretty
much the same, with some modernizations. The Pigeon sisters from England
are also replaced by the Costazuela sisters from Spain.
"I'm worried about Felix. He's never been this late before."
"I don't hear anything."
"That's what I'm saying. It's too quiet."
"I'll work it out on my own. Let go of me."
"I didn't get all the potato chips."
"And then the dog, he lick my face, like this."
"This is the hardest part about breaking up."
"Why did you divorce?"
"Because my husband Manolo found out about Emilio."
"No, but I'm a great fan of El Greco paintings."
"In other words, you're throwing me out?"
"Not 'in other words', those are the perfect words."
