Arriving in Grand Cayman.
We meet up with the tour groups in this local shopping area.
There are chickens running around all over the island after being released in a past hurricane.
Our first stop is a rum tasting in this local distillery.
Our host is really an excellent presenter, and we try quite a variety of good rums.
It included reserve rum, and others flavored with coconut, coffee, etc.
Then we went to a factory that makes rum cakes.
We get there in the afternoon, and the baking is pretty much done for the day.
Kimberly looking a the various flavors.
We drive around to see more of the island; this is the governor's mansion.
This is called "The Old Homestead" and shows the typical construction.
We visit a place called Hell with this little post office.
Heading out to the rock formations that give Hell its name.
Obligatory photo to show we have been to Hell and back.
More chickens running about in the parking lot.
The tender boat in the foreground waiting to take us back to the ship in the background.
