Here we are in Porto at the Mercure Hotel.
Our room looks OK at first glance, ...
...but it is tiny and has no shelf area, so we are tripping over our bags.
Out in front is a lovely square with this church in the background.
We head a couple of blocks past that church to try a Porto favorite: the Francesenha sandwich. It's their
take on a croque monsieur with meat, sausage, an egg, and cheese, in a beer-pepper sauce.
