Act II Mary runs away from the school and goes home to Grandma. Their maid is not impressed. "You don't look sick to me."
"Now young lady, why did you run away?"
"Oh, Grandma, they hate me there."
"And they are having an unnatural relationship. I can't say it out loud; I'll just whisper it in your ear so the audience will wonder what I am actually saying."
Rosalie becomes a vassal of Mary and backs up her story.
"What is happening here? All our students were taken away by their parents, and no one will tell us why."
"You told the parents what?! You are a sick, old woman."
"I can't believe that people can believe this is true about us."
Mary has her day in family court.
Rosalie confirms the awful "truth".
