Day 9 -- Drive to Moab, Utah, including scenic route UT-128.
Day 9 was mainly a driving day to Moab.
We went through a lot of different weather.
We started getting into the stacked red rock formations.
You can see desert in the foreground all the way back to snow-capped mountains in the background.
We took the scenic route UT-128 down. It is a little slower, but quite beautiful. Here are some
rafters on the Colorado river that parallels much of the route.
We knew we wanted to get in line early the next day to go to Arches National Park, so we stopped
after dinner to get the obligatory picture with the sign.
